Dear Colleagues and Friends, 
Dear Alpha-Amylase Family People! 
 
This is to inform you that the Fourth Symposium on the Alpha- Amylase Family (ALAMY_4) will be held 26-30 September 2010 at the Smolenice Castle, Slovakia. 
Sessions will include and cover the alpha-amylase clan GH-H: (i) Structure-function relationships; (ii) Metabolism of starch and glycogen; (iii) Novel GH13 subfamilies; (iv) Extremophilic amylolytic enzymes; (v) Starch-binding domains as CBM families; and (vi) Industrial aspects of starch processing. 
 
Registration and abstract submission will be available from the middle of February 2010.
